Frontend Developer

We're working with a well-established Canadian technology company that’s looking for a Front-End Developer to join their growing digital team.

This role is focused on building engaging, high-performing web applications while integrating Machine Learning capabilities.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on React expertise, a passion for clean, reusable code, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable front-end solutions.

This is a 6-12 month contract to start, hybrid 2-3 days a week in downtown or North Toronto.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (primarily React).
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible interfaces.
• Build reusable components and maintain clean, testable code.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and Backend teams to deliver polished, user-focused products.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of front-end development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building responsive layouts and integrating with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile environments.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and attention to performance.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to GraphQL, Next.js, or Redux.
• Some backend experience.
