This role provides hands-on support for a fully remote, globally distributed team, ensuring seamless IT operations and secure technology environments. You will act as the primary point of contact for IT helpdesk requests, hardware deployment, and endpoint management, while collaborating with HR and Security teams on onboarding, offboarding, and IT security practices. The position emphasizes problem-solving, technical expertise, and proactive support, contributing to a productive and secure work environment. Accountabilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for IT helpdesk requests from staff
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for employees
- Collaborate with HR and Security teams to manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Set up and deploy laptops, devices, software, and other hardware efficiently
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and tracking IT assets, maintaining accurate inventory records
- Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems, including BYOD policies and endpoint security
- Provide IT training and guidance to staff on tools, security best practices, and procedures
- Support change management, procurement, and other IT-related initiatives as required
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
- Familiarity with cloud-centric environments and cybersecurity practices
- Experience with traditional on-premises LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with a collaborative mindset
- Availability for on-call rotations and occasional after-hours support
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- IT or security certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco)
- Understanding of financial services regulations and privacy requirements
- Prior experience in financial services or technology infrastructure for regulated environments
- Ability to balance stakeholder needs, technical feasibility, and budget considerations
