A fast-growing fintech player is hiring a Country CISO to lead and scale both its first and second-line security functions. This is a senior, mission-critical role with full ownership of security engineering, security operations, and technology risk, reporting directly to the CEO.

You’ll oversee a team of information security professionals and take the lead in designing, implementing, and evolving our security architecture, infrastructure, and operations across a regulated environment. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on technical background, a track record of building and managing high-performing security teams, and comfort operating in an APAC fintech or digital banking environment.

You’ll be expected to work closely with engineering and product teams to deliver secure-by-design practices, manage incident response readiness, and provide proactive cyber risk protection—while maintaining deep alignment with MAS regulatory expectations and internal technology risk partners.

You’ll inherit a well-resourced and technically mature team, including an experienced security engineering manager and a new security operations lead—both of whom will report into you. You’ll work directly with the CEO and CTO, and act as the key security voice across product, engineering, and compliance.

We’re looking for a proven team lead who has been both technically hands-on and directly responsible for managing security engineering and operations. Ideally, you come from a banking or digital finance environment and are familiar with MAS TRM, ISO 27001, and best practices in managing cloud-native security infrastructure.
