About The Team
The Data Science team lies at the foundation of Zoom’s success - you'll be working cross-functionally with teams of engineers, scientists, marketers, and product professionals.
What We’re Looking For
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
$87 600,00
Maximum
$186 000,00
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations

About The Team
The Data Science team lies at the foundation of Zoom’s success - you'll be working cross-functionally with teams of engineers, scientists, marketers, and product professionals.
What We’re Looking For
- Have a Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a data science or similar role with a focus on developing consumer ML models.
- Demonstrate in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, numpy, etc.), with experience in data manipulation and machine learning.
- Demonstrate SQL skills for querying large databases. Familiarity with DBT or similar tools.
- Demonstrate knowledge with A/B testing, customer segmentation, Long term value prediction, or personalization models.
- Demonstrate with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn/plotly).
- Have exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Have knowledge of tools like dbt,DataBricks, Airflow, or MLflow.
- Analyzing large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights related to buying journey, customer intent and user behavior.
- Building and validate predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support personalization, churn prediction, customer segmentation, recommendation systems, and other to support use cases.
- Designing and implement A/B tests and interpret results to inform business decisions.
- Communicating insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Supporting data pipeline development in collaboration with Data Engineers.
- Monitoring model performance and update solutions as necessary.
