BU: Digital Experience

Team: Sales Velocity, Core Tech & AI

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this operations-focused role, you will help automate and streamline our deployment processes and support our demo systems. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability and improve CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Attend Security tickets and ensure compliance with security best practices.

Provide technical support and perform day-to-day operational tasks for production and non-production environments.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployments and system performance in Linux environments.

Assist in creating, maintaining, and evolving CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment.

Develop and maintain scripts using Python and Bash to automate repetitive system tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Monitor system health, application performance, and infrastructure using established monitoring and logging tools.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.

Help maintain and manage our version control system, specifically Git.

Participate in on-call rotations to support critical production systems.

Required Skills And Qualifications

4-7yrs. overall experience with min. 3years in DevOps.

Basic knowledge of Linux: Familiarity with the Linux command line and experience with system administration tasks.

Basic scripting skills: Ability to write and understand basic scripts in Python.

Basic CI/CD knowledge: An understanding of CI/CD concepts and familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.

Version control: Foundational experience using Git for source code management.

Problem-solving attitude: A keen interest in identifying and solving technical problems.

Collaborative team spirit: Willingness to work effectively within a team and learn from more experienced colleagues.

Willingness to learn: Eagerness to embrace new technologies and methodologies.

“Nice-to-have” Skills

Ticket Management: Respond to and resolve security tickets related to vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and policy violations discovered in applications and infrastructure.

Vulnerability Remediation: Work with development teams to remediate security vulnerabilities identified by automated scanners or external reports.

Security Tool Integration: Assist in integrating security tools and practices into the CI/CD pipelines, such as static application security testing (SAST) and software composition analysis (SCA).

Security Incident Response: Participate in the incident response process by helping to analyze, contain, and remediate security incidents when they occur.

Access and Secrets Management: Help manage and audit access controls and sensitive data like API keys and credentials, potentially using a secrets management tool.

Security Monitoring and Alerting: Configure and respond to security-related alerts from monitoring and logging systems.

Security Audits: Participate in and provide data for security audits and assessments.
