My client, a respected and growing City law firm, are seeking a proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join their team.


The role offers wide exposure across HR operations, learning & development, recruitment and people-focused projects, making it ideal for someone looking to grow within a generalist role in a values-driven environment.

This Human Resources Coordinator role, will suit an experienced HR Assistant, looking to take the next step in their career and develop into a HR Advisor.


Salary: c.£38,000–£42,000


Duties will include:

  • Maintaining and updating the firm’s HRIS, ensuring people records and documents are complete and accurate.
  • Responding to HR-related enquiries and delivering a consistent employee service, escalating complex matters appropriately.
  • Managing onboarding and offboarding processes through the HRIS and supporting in-person induction and exit interviews where needed.
  • Assisting with performance management cycles, monitoring progress and supporting successful completion of reviews.
  • Coordinating internal and external training programmes, including scheduling, logistics, and liaison with providers and attendees.
  • Supporting the learning journey for trainee cohorts, including annual planning and session management.
  • Drafting standard employee documentation, such as changes to terms, parental leave letters, and confirmation of employment.
  • Assisting with the coordination and delivery of the graduate recruitment and summer vacation scheme programmes.
  • Providing administrative and scheduling support for firmwide recruitment campaigns.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with recruitment agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Managing interview logistics and ensuring all parties receive timely and professional communication.
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of firmwide wellbeing initiatives and events.


The successful Human Resources Coordinator will be:

A confident and collaborative HR professional, ideally with prior experience in a professional services environment. You will be organised, responsive, and eager to work across a variety of HR activities. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, alongside a detail-oriented approach, will be key to your success in the role.
