Infrastructure Scrum Master (DV Clearance)
Position Description
At CGI, we're driving the future of infrastructure transformation - from cloud modernisation to network innovation and DevOps evolution. As a key member of our delivery team, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling high-performing, Agile teams to deliver critical infrastructure programmes for major clients. This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact - fostering collaboration, accelerating digital change, and shaping the technology foundations that power tomorrow's enterprise.
CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK 'Best Employer' by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you'll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We'll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.
Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. Please note this is a long-term role suited to people Gloucester-based who are able to commute daily to the client's site five days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will lead and facilitate Agile delivery across multiple infrastructure teams, driving high-value outcomes in areas such as cloud, data centre, network, and DevOps transformation. You'll act as the cornerstone of collaboration - enabling technical experts to deliver efficiently while maintaining alignment with business goals.
You'll coach teams to continuously improve, removing blockers and fostering a culture of ownership and innovation. Working closely with stakeholders and technical leaders, you'll ensure delivery transparency, manage dependencies, and guide your squads toward predictable, sustainable performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Facilitate: Serve as Scrum Master for infrastructure squads, ensuring effective delivery through sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach & Empower: Support cross-functional teams in adopting Agile values, fostering collaboration and self-organisation.
- Deliver & Optimise: Drive successful delivery of infrastructure initiatives including cloud migration, automation, and platform modernisation.
- Collaborate & Align: Partner with Product Owners and leadership to maintain clear communication, backlog readiness, and sprint commitments.
- Measure & Improve: Use Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, Teams) to monitor metrics, identify trends, and promote continuous improvement.
You should bring strong Agile leadership experience within complex infrastructure or DevOps environments, with a passion for enabling technical teams to deliver impactful outcomes.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in enterprise-scale infrastructure, cloud, or DevOps programmes.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery in technical environments (CI/CD, cloud, network, data centre).
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and other Agile collaboration tools.
- Relevant Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) are desirable.
