Software Engineer (IBM I/RPG)

Location: Bornem, Belgium

Languages: Dutch and English

Job description:

The business roadmap consists of different types of projects that differ both in type (data management, minor improvements, integration with packages...) and in functional domains (logistics, customer management, purchasing...). The projects that will be worked on depend on both your experience and the match within a project team.

Skills:

• 8+ years and recent experience as an IBMi/RPG-free-developer
• Advanced SQL-knowledge
• XML-knowledge
• RDI-knowledge
• Experience in both building own software and integration of the legacy software with a package
• Knowledge of modular programming
• Experience in working in waterfall-projects
• Experience in operational support
• Willing to take turns in operational support (after 6-12 months)

Nice to have:

• Experience in retail, logistics, or supply chain
• Experience in guiding/coaching
• Experience with ARCAD-skipper
• Experience with offshore teams
