The Role
As the Junior Project Manager / Project Coordinator you will support the Program Management team in delivering key transformation initiatives. You'll coordinate multiple workstreams, manage stakeholder engagement, and ensure successful execution of project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project planning, scheduling, and monitoring of deliverables
- Coordinate working groups, meetings, and stakeholder sessions
- Maintain project documentation (plans, risk registers, status reports)
- Monitor progress, identify variances, and escalate risks proactively
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and prepare governance reports
- Support change management activities and ensure compliance.
- Previous experience in a similar role and environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills; confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels within the team.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and deadlines.
- Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2) desirable.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, or a related field preferred
