This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior iOS Engineer in Latin America.

This role offers the opportunity to develop high-quality, visually rich iOS applications that impact millions of users worldwide. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and backend developers, to deliver engaging and performant mobile experiences. The position emphasizes applying modern iOS development practices using Swift, SwiftUI, and concurrency patterns, while integrating with backend services. You will take ownership of architecture decisions, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and ensure comprehensive testing for unit, integration, and UI layers. This fully remote role fosters autonomy, creativity, and a supportive team culture across Latin America. Advanced English communication is required, as the role involves direct collaboration with US-based clients.

Accountabilities

  • Design and implement high-quality iOS features following modern best practices and architectural patterns
  • Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure visually compelling and user-friendly applications
  • Integrate backend services and manage communication layers efficiently
  • Write and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure app stability and performance
  • Participate in code quality reviews, refactoring, and continuous improvement processes
  • Contribute to CI/CD workflows to ensure smooth deployment and release management
  • Mentor junior developers and actively participate in knowledge sharing


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years of professional iOS development experience for iPhone/iPad
  • 5+ years of experience with Swift and proficiency with SwiftUI and concurrency frameworks (Combine or Swift Concurrency)
  • Experience with architectural patterns such as Compose, MVVM, or Clean Architecture
  • Strong background in backend service integration and communication layer implementation
  • Experience in custom drawing and graphic-intensive UI development
  • Participation in UI/UX collaboration and decision-making processes
  • Proficiency in CI/CD processes and automated testing (unit, integration, UI)
  • Advanced English level for collaboration with international clients


Preferred:

  • Experience in highly visible or creative mobile applications
  • Prior work in remote, distributed teams across Latin America
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in delivering production-ready apps
