The International Relations & Student Services Office at Modul University Vienna is looking for an:

Your responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee major entrepreneurial projects including Modul Business Championship (MBC), MBC Junior, Startup Nights, Summer School Portfolio and the new Startup Challenge (designed and launched from scratch under the university umbrella).
  • Manage all aspects of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and impact evaluation.
  • Coordinate tasks across multiple university departments to integrate academic, research, and external engagement activities into the work of the university.
  • Act as a primary liaison for partners, sponsors, and stakeholders, representing these projects internally and externally.
  • Build and sustain strategic partnerships with Vienna’s vibrant startup ecosystem, including startups, accelerators, incubators, investors, and innovation hubs.
  • Identify and engage new ecosystem partners to enhance collaboration, student involvement, and practical learning opportunities.
  • Facilitate the integration of startup partners into university projects, events, and academic courses.
  • Collaborate closely with and actively contribute to the initiatives and daily operations of the International Relations & Student Services Office.
  • Support the administration, promotion, and development of scholarship programs aimed at attracting and retaining talented international students.
  • Encourage and involve scholarship recipients in flagship projects, providing hands-on experience and fostering leadership skills.
  • Assist colleagues with additional student engagement activities and support a variety of innovative projects and initiatives.
  • Lead the design and execution of other innovative projects as requested, ensuring alignment with Modul University’s mission.
  • Oversee the strategic alignment of all projects within relevant departments, ensuring consistency and efficiency across initiatives.

Your profile

  • Ideally a minimum of 1 year full-time relevant work experience in project management ideally within an academic, innovation, or startup environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and multitask
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and coordinate complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Effective planning and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German (optional).
  • IT affinity and excellent knowledge of MS office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Valid work permit in Austria.

Further information

We offer an unlimited-term employment contract, subject to mutual satisfaction of the parties. The position can be filled from November 1, 2025.
