DevOps Engineer (1134)

We are seeking an experienced Software Release & Configuration Engineer to manage and optimize the deployment, integration, and operational performance of our information systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CI/CD processes, release orchestration, and application server management, with a focus on ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient software delivery across multiple environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute software configuration management and maintain build processes.
• Implement and manage continuous integration pipelines through CI/CD tools.
• Establish and maintain deployment procedures for information systems.
• Administer and support development infrastructure, including application servers.
• Oversee automated CI/CD workflows, ensuring stability and security.
• Coordinate and control software releases, adhering to defined governance standards.
• Analyze system performance and recommend optimization strategies.
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule releases across multiple teams and environments.
• Troubleshoot build and deployment issues, including environment inconsistencies.
• Ensure secure handling of credentials and integration with external services.
• Support safe and rollback-ready database migrations using Flyway or Liquibase.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of proven experience in software deployment, release management, CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and version control.
• Proficient in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo), build tools (Maven, Ant), and Git.
• Strong knowledge of application servers (Weblogic, Tomcat), Linux systems, RDBMS, and containerization (Docker).
• Experience with documentation and collaboration platforms (Confluence, Jira).
• Hands-on familiarity with performance monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace).
• Skilled in managing secrets/passwords for secure service integration.
• Solid understanding of rollback strategies, environment consistency, and security compliance.
