We are looking for an experienced Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to keep their databases running smoothly 24/7. You will play a key role in ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our SQL Server environments while also supporting other database platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take operational responsibility for Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Design and implement high-availability, high-performance, and cost-efficient database solutions.
- Manage database backup and recovery strategies, including point-in-time recovery.
- Perform regular testing and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
- Monitor database performance, tune configurations, and apply patches and upgrades when required.
- Provide support for Oracle databases and other system administrators if needed.
- Proven experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL Server architecture, performance tuning, and backup/recovery.
- Experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL – beneficial.
- Excellent understanding of database security, integrity, and SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
- High proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Professional mindset, proactive approach, and ability to work independently.
- Proven experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL Server architecture, performance tuning, and backup/recovery.
- Experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL is beneficial.
- Excellent understanding of database security, integrity, and SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
- Excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
