Join us to lead the Billing team within the Product department. The role of this platform team is to own the core logic of credit infrastructure, invoicing, consolidations and financial systems that support other teams. Product Owner is the team lead in charge of Billing strategy and engineering.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the Billing strategy and roadmap for loan management, settlements, payouts, invoicing and other financial functions of ESTO’s products
• Lead build vs. buy decisions for existing and new functionalities involving loan servicing, integrations and other financial transactions
• Manage a team of engineers to execute business needs based on the roadmap
• Translate business, finance, and compliance needs into clear projects and acceptance criteria; prioritize a transparent backlog
• Partner with Finance and Data to ensure accurate postings, daily reconciliations, month-end close readiness, IFRS-aligned accruals/amortization, and reliable data flows to the DWH
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: 5+ years in Product Ownership/Management in fintech/payments/banking; 2+ years owning billing/ledgering/loan servicing or core payments/settlement systems
• Communication and documentation: crisp specifications, metrics-driven decision-making, and clear stakeholder updates in English
• Domain knowledge: BNPL, credit line, and installment loans; schedules, collections, chargebacks, write-offs, invoicing
• Financial/accounting depth: double-entry bookkeeping, sub-ledger to GL, accruals and revenue recognition, interest and fee calculations, reconciliation practices, month-end close
• Technical fluency (no coding required): basic SQL, APIs, event-driven architecture, microservices, data modeling, idempotency
  
  

Nice to have: experience with loan/billing platforms (e.g., Mambu, LoanPro, Thought Machine, Tuum) and finance/data tools (ERP/GL, reconciliation suites, ETL/BI)
