Your mission:

Join us in disrupting post-trade processing in the over-the-counter (OTC) energy trading market.

As a Software Developer with a passion for coding, you will play a key role in a small development team, creating a highly interactive, event-driven product.

What you'll do:

The Software Developer plays an important role in our company's product development lifecycle. Working within a small Agile development team, you will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to design, plan, and implement product and platform features.

  • Build high-quality, clean, and scalable code by promoting best practices in software engineering, design patterns, processes, and architecture
  • Collaborate with product managers to understand and refine requirements
  • Own the implementation process from design to test automation and documentation
  • Design schemas and interfaces that are simple and allow customers to use features and APIs to meet their specific needs
  • Deliver rapid iterations of software based on feedback and performance metrics
  • Design and implement new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of the software framework, specific features, and cloud infrastructure
  • Support the adoption of frameworks, standards, and new technologies

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and schema design
  • Experience maintaining and updating sophisticated, enterprise-scale services
  • Strong knowledge of backend technologies: Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, AWS
  • Comfortable working in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment
  • Well-versed in Agile methodology and experienced across the software development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and spoken English skills
