The AI scene in Dublin is exploding - but every now and then, a project comes along that genuinely feels different.

We're working with a fast-moving AI startup building a product that transforms real conversations - from calls, meetings, and chats - into actionable insights for business leaders. Instead of relying on dashboards or KPIs, their platform helps companies understand what's actually happening across their people, products, and performance.

This is a founding-level role, where you'll sit at the heart of that mission - shaping how the product thinks, scales, and learns.

As the Founding Full-Stack AI Engineer, you'll work directly with the CTO and play a central role in building out the company's AI-powered systems. Around 75% of the job is real software engineering - designing, optimising, and maintaining production-ready systems - with the remaining 25% focused on applying and evolving LLMs and ML techniques.

You'll help define the engineering culture from the ground up, making key decisions on architecture, infrastructure, and tooling. It's the kind of role where you'll move quickly, experiment constantly, and see the direct impact of your work in days, not months.

• Design, build, and scale LLM-driven workflows that turn raw conversations into structured insights.

• Work across a modern stack - TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres, Drizzle, gRPC/REST APIs, and an expanding Python-based AI stack.

• Build robust feedback loops, test suites, and performance metrics around LLM outputs.

• Collaborate daily with the founders and other engineers in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

• Help shape engineering best practices and influence how the company grows technically.
  
  

• Strong software engineering fundamentals - you can read any codebase, make sense of it, and make it better.

• Deep hands-on experience in TypeScript (React/Next.js or similar) and Python.

• Solid understanding of LLMs and ML workflows (OpenAI, HuggingFace, Anthropic, etc.).

• Strong mathematical and algorithmic grounding

• Experience building scalable systems or platforms from scratch, ideally in SaaS or high-growth startup environments.

• A founder mindset - maybe you've built your own product or startup before (successful or not). You understand ownership, iteration, and speed.
