Lightineering.com is building the first marketplace for lighting engineers, connecting manufacturers, architects, and developers with verified experts on demand. We’re transforming how lighting design and engineering are sourced—solving HR shortages and helping businesses scale faster through smart technology.

We’re hiring a Tech Lead (path to CTO) for a remote, equity-first role.

You’ll take full ownership of the product stack, architecture, and tech roadmap. Our MVP is nearly complete (built with freelancers); next step — build the in-house tech team and scale the platform.

You will:

• Define and implement product architecture
• Coordinate freelancers and future dev hires
• Establish workflows for development, QA, and releases
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance
• Collaborate with the founder on product direction and investor readiness

• Strong full-stack background (React / Node / Firebase / or similar)
• Experience leading small dev teams or early-stage builds
• Startup mindset: fast, pragmatic, and reliable
• Excellent communication & ownership attitude
• Experience in SaaS or marketplace development is a plus

• Equity with a 3-year vesting schedule (pre-funding, no salary until round closes)
• Remote-first, open across Europe (CET/EET ±2 h preferred)
• Direct growth path to CTO
