About AccuSourceHR

AccuSourceHR™ is a full-service employment screening organization headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Since 1999, we've combined innovative technology with high-quality, US-based client care. Our culture is built on collaboration, continuous learning, and a commitment to excellence, ensuring our team members feel valued, supported, and empowered.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly collaborative and detail-oriented Product Owner to act as a vital bridge between our US-based Product Managers and Lithuania-based development teams. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for translating high-level product requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria. You will also own and facilitate Agile ceremonies as Scrum Master for two sprint teams, ensuring consistent delivery, team alignment, and continuous improvement. This is a high-impact position that blends business analysis, Agile delivery, and cross-functional leadership in a distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with US-based Product Managers to translate business goals into actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for developers needing clarification on business requirements.
  • Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint demos, and retrospectives.
  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities are clear, stories are well-defined, and sprints are focused and achievable.
  • Lead sprint reviews and demos, presenting outcomes to US stakeholders and incorporating feedback.
  • Track team performance using metrics such as velocity, throughput, and cycle time to identify and drive improvements.
  • Partner with QA, design, and engineering teams to ensure high-quality delivery aligned with business expectations.
  • Support lightweight analytics and research, including feature adoption tracking and competitive insights.

Education/Experience

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Technical Program Manager in a software development environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to write clear user stories and manage product backlogs.
  • Experience working with distributed teams across time zones.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority.

Preferred/Bonus Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile platforms.
  • Ability to analyze and report on user behavior, feature adoption, and product performance.
  • Experience with product development best practices, including MVPs and iterative delivery.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and BI tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Looker, Tableau).
  • Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis.
  • Background in software engineering, QA, or UX is a plus.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and building high-performing Agile teams.

Benefits

  • Work with a team of curious, kind, and driven humans.
  • Hybrid work setup (because flexibility matters) - up to 3 days remote.
  • Free parking at the office.
  • Snacks, coffee, and good vibes always stocked.
  • Private health insurance.
  • Space to grow, experiment, and make a real impact.

Salary

40,000-55,000 EUR gross/yearly (depending on experience)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to commute to our Vilnius office 2 times / week.
  • A dedicated and ergonomic workspace at home conducive to focused work, including proper seating and desk setup.
  • Access to a stable and reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Adequate lighting and minimal background noise to support professional video calls and meetings.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 5 pounds occasionally, for tasks such as setting up a workstation or equipment.
