We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join us in our Enterprise Cost Steering team. This is your opportunity to leverage your analytical skills and technical expertise to optimise cost structures and drive strategic decision-making.

The Enterprise Cost Steering department plays an essential role in managing and overseeing costs across the Group, ensuring effective resource allocation and enhancing cost efficiency. We collaborate with Finance teams, Procurement, Support functions, and Business Units to identify opportunities that enable growth, optimise costs, and implement best practices. Our focus is on supporting the executive leadership team with insights and recommendations to optimise cost structures and improve financial health.

You will be part of a newly established department, contributing to the formation of a new team of dedicated cost analysts and financial strategists. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate on shaping team dynamics and implementing cost optimisation strategies across the Group.

As our new Business Intelligence Analyst within Enterprise Cost Steering, you will support cost efficiency initiatives and provide insightful analysis and reporting to guide resource allocation decisions. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Cost Steering, your role will enhance cost management processes and contribute to Group Financial Steering.

You will:

  • Use proficiency in Python or similar programming languages to support advanced analytical tasks and enhance decision-making processes
  • Analyse large datasets and uncover actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain cost models to support forward looking cost steering, financial planning, forecasting, and cost management strategies
  • Create and execute SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting, ensuring data accuracy and reliability
  • Apply AI and machine learning techniques to address business and finance challenges, contributing to process efficiency and predictive analytics
  • Build and maintain dashboards in Tableau to visualise data and communicate results effectively to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations and solutions, promoting innovation and optimisation
  • Ensure consistent and timely reporting and analysis to inform data driven decision-making

About you:

  • Have at least 2 years of working experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Statistical Analyst, Finance Analyst or similar role. Experience in Cost Management is an advantage
  • A strong background in statistical analysis, data science, or a related field. Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or similar
  • Interest in AI, with practical experience or a keen interest in applying AI to cost, business and finance challenges
  • Experience building dashboards in Tableau and working with large datasets
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders
  • A relevant degree, preferably in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills, both written and spoken

Monthly salary range from 2880 EUR to 4320 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
