We are looking for a highly motivated M&A Intern to join our team in Luxembourg, with a mandatory start in January 2026 for 6 months. Applications for other start dates will not be considered.

 

About Tenzing Partners

Tenzing Partners is a Luxembourg-based M&A boutique founded in 2007, specializing in sell-side, buy-side, and fundraising mandates across various sectors. We are proud members of Globalscope, an international network of independent M&A boutiques established in 1987, with 55 members operating across 46 countries.

This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in M&A, work on live transactions, and be part of a dynamic and entrepreneurial team.

 

Key Responsibilities

As an M&A Intern, you will be actively involved in all stages of the deal process, including but not limited to:

  • Market Research: Perform market screening, analyze industry trends, and identify potential acquisition targets and investors.
  • Marketing Materials: Assist in the preparation of pitch books, teasers, investment memorandums, and other transaction-related documents.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and review company financial statements.
  • Due Diligence: Support and coordinate due diligence processes.

 

This internship offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable exposure to M&A transactions.

 

Your Profile

  • Availability: Must be available to start in January 2026 for at least 6 months.
  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, ideally with an international scope. An internship agreement is mandatory!
  • Experience: A first experience (internship or similar) in M&A, private equity, investment banking, transaction services, or audit is a strong advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and the ability to structure and analyze financial data.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies.
  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial, curious, and eager to learn about various industries and corporate strategies.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and French is required. German and/or Luxembourgish is a strong advantage. Additional languages are highly valued.
  • Work Authorization: EU citizenship or a valid work permit in Luxembourg is required.
