For its “Data Science” department, Artemis is currently looking for a Senior Statistician / Data Scientist* (as fixed-term contract employee or independent expert) fluent in English to join our team and contribute to high-impact projects in the field of environmental and economic statistics.

Your challenge / your responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver robust and replicable R scripts to implement defined methodologies;
- Build and maintain tools for data validation and visualisation, including PowerBI dashboards, enabling stakeholders to cross-check and review the data;
- Draft document methods, describe assumptions, and processes to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and transferability for future extensions;
- Collaborate with our client and to present methodologies results and solutions in working groups;
- Ensure high-quality deliverables.
Your profile
- Completed education of at least ISCED level 7 (Master degree or equivalent) in statistics or economics;
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in official statistics or related domains;
- Experience in data management and/or data validation within statistical domains such as energy, environment, agriculture, transport, or similar
- Proven expertise in R programming and data science, with experience in writing reproducible and well-documented code;
- Strong knowledge of data visualisation tools such as PowerBI;
- Experience with Input-Output tables and/or environmental statistics is a strong asset;
- Excellent drafting and reporting skills;
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and oral);
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, rigor, and organisational skills.
