The Role

Assai is looking for a Frontend React Developer to join the Viewport product team. You will help build and refine user interfaces that visualize AI-driven insights from engineering documentation. Working closely with the Product Owner, Tech Lead, and backend developers, you will shape intuitive front-end experiences for search, visualization, and contextual linking.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop modern and responsive interfaces using React, TypeScript, and related frameworks.
• Translate complex data and AI output into clear, usable visualizations.
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and semantic search services.
• Collaborate with designers, AI engineers, and testers in an Agile environment.
• Maintain high standards for accessibility, scalability, and performance.
• Contribute to UI/UX discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proven experience in building scalable and modular frontends for SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with data visualization (e.g. D3.js, Chart.js, or custom UI frameworks).
• Experience working with REST APIs, AI/ML-based endpoints, or semantic search outputs.
• Understanding of state management, component testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Svelte, Vite, Storybook, or ASP.NET Core is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
• Strong analytical mindset and collaborative attitude.
