About the Company

As part of our continued expansion in industrial software development, we are seeking a Python Software Developer to help build intelligent, scalable solutions for manufacturing, logistics, and automation environments.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing backend systems, automating industrial workflows, and integrating software with hardware platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, analysts, and product stakeholders in an agile setting to deliver high-impact solutions. You’ll also contribute to the evolution of our software architecture, support deployment strategies, and help shape the future of industrial digitalization.

Responsibilities

• Developing backend systems and APIs using Python
• Writing automation scripts to optimize industrial operations
• Integrating software with hardware using protocols like Modbus or OPC-UA
• Building dashboards and internal tools using frameworks such as Flask or Django
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliverables
• Participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO or WO) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2–3+ years of experience in Python development
• Familiarity with C++ is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional teams
• Experience with industrial protocols, data processing, or automation tools is a strong advantage
• Proficient in English and/or Dutch
• A proactive mindset with strong analytical and communication skills
