Who we’re looking for
We are seeking passionate students with a track record of academic excellence and the drive to make a difference. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong analytical skills, adaptability and effective communication skills, willingness to learn and to self-develop professional skills. You should be a creative thinker with a passion for computer design and technology. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are relevant. You need to demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
The Graduate Programme
As a participant in the Graduate Program, you will undergo a comprehensive training curriculum that combines hands-on experience with specialized work-shops. You will be exposed to various departments and projects, allowing you to develop a deep understanding of Allianz’ operations and strategic goals in Central Europe. Throughout the program you will work closely with seasoned professionals and receive mentorship from trusted colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Create intuitive and engaging user interfaces for websites and mobile applications considering the insurance business specifics, last trends in online customer behaviour and market best practice.
- Develop user experience strategies that align with business goals and customer needs.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, Swift & Kotlin, PHP to enhance UI/UX designs.
- Manage and optimize online sales platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Implement and analyse e-commerce best practice solutions to improve customer engagement and conversion rates.
- Lead and manage UX/UI projects using methodologies such as Agile.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Conduct user research and tests to understand client needs and expectations.
- Develop and implement personalized UX/UI solutions based on research findings.
- Work closely with developers, designers, and other specialists to implement functionalities and design.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical team members to ensure project success.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance design processes and user experiences.
- Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and integrate them into design strategies.
Key requirements/What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Design, IT or a computer related field.
- Proven understanding or learning experience about UI/UX.
- Strong understanding of programming concepts and languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
- English and Romanian proficiency (C1+) required.
- Proven understanding or learning experience of e-commerce platforms and mobile applications.
- Proven understanding or learning experience in project management and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on UX/UI implementation.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams.
- Familiarity with AI tools and technologies.
Potential Rotations
Rotations are a central element of the Allianz Graduate Program. Together with your supervisor, you will plan individually in which areas you want to gain experience – both within Allianz Austria or in one of the companies in our Allianz Central Europe region.
This way, you not only gain diverse insights but also a comprehensive understanding of different business models, cultures, and contexts – and you can expand your network far beyond national borders.
