As a Scrum Master at Thales, you will play a key role in fostering continuous improvement within development teams by promoting best practices for clean code and agile methodologies. You will provide guidance to engineers and Project Managers on engineering environments and practices while acting as a mentor to encourage learning, continuous improvement, and a culture of constructive feedback.
What you will do:
- Support developers in enhancing their ability to write clean, maintainable code through best practices.
- Advise engineers and Project Managers on engineering environments and practices.
- Mentor teams to foster continuous learning, improvement, and feedback culture.
- Share knowledge within the software community via news, videos, forums, etc.
- Contribute to the documentation and continuous improvement of best practices and service offerings (e.g., training sessions, guidelines, creation of Kata/Dojo materials).
- Assist the Head of Department in co-creating and monitoring team performance and quality indicators.
- Master’s degree or engineering diploma with experience in agile teams.
- Strong technical knowledge in software development (SOLID principles, TDD, DDD, clean code, pair/mob programming), continuous improvement, and training.
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide teams while encouraging constructive debates and a challenge-oriented attitude.
- Comfortable working in an international environment (English/French).
- Ability to help teams overcome human, organizational, and technical challenges to achieve excellence.
- Skilled at creating an environment based on trust and transparency.
