Business Analyst with German

Who We Are

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong analytical and communication skills to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, business analysis, and product management, with fluent German language skills to facilitate communication with German-speaking stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

Act as the intermediary between the Product Owner (PO) and the development team, ensuring clear communication of business needs and priorities
Gather, analyze, and refine requirements from stakeholders, translating them into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria
Work closely with developers, testers, and UX designers to ensure smooth implementation of features aligned with business objectives
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
Participate in Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives, providing valuable insights and ensuring continuous improvement
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic product decisions
Ensure that all product documentation is up to date and clearly communicated to relevant teams
Communicate effectively with German-speaking stakeholders, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment on product vision

What You'll Bring Along

Bachelor’s degree in Informatics/ or similar field of study/or equivalent working experience is required
Minimum 5-10 years demonstrable experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related Agile role
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience working with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools
Experience in writing and managing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance business needs with technical feasibility
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of software development processes and ability to collaborate with technical teams
SAFe or Scrum certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner – CSPO) is nice to have
Experience in software development, banking, automotive, or another complex industry
Familiarity with UX/UI principles and customer-centric design thinking is nice to have
Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German
