ML Engineer

Avigna is hiring ML Engineer

Our IT Delivery Center aims to build strong and sustainable solutions for customers across Europe. We are looking for a ML Engineer to join the team to build, support and drive customer innovations, bringing efficiency to the processes through efficient management of cost and schedule.

Experience: Senior / Expert level with proven consulting experience in optimization and data science Location: Stockholm, Sweden Mode of work: Remote (100% remote allowed)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain optimization models (e.g., Mixed Integer Linear Programming).
• Refactor and improve code for clarity, scalability, and maintainability.
• Enhance performance and reliability of production systems.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Product Managers to deliver impactful features.
• Apply MLOps best practices for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and create visualizations to support decision-making.
  
  

Qualification

• Strong Python programming skills with production-grade coding experience.
• Hands-on experience with optimization solvers like Gurobi, OR-Tools, or similar.
• Solid SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines, preferably in Google Cloud (Vertex AI).
• Experience with Git, REST APIs, and DBT for data transformation.
• Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
