Job Overview

We are hiring a Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience to build and optimize scalable backend services. The role involves developing RESTful APIs, managing relational databases, and implementing containerized applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions. Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and modern backend practices is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend services using Node.js
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption
• Design and optimize relational databases (RDBMS) schemas and queries
• Implement containerized applications using Docker
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Scrum/Agile methodologies
• Maintain code quality through code reviews, unit tests, and version control using Git
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of backend systems
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address them
• Participate in system architecture discussions and design decisions

QualificationsMust-Have:

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Proficiency with Docker for containerization
• Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Prisma ORM
• Familiarity with Nest.js framework
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• PNPM package manager
