Job Description
The Solution Specialist (Web) plays a central role in enabling, governing, and continuously improving TOMRA’s web platforms. Acting as a bridge between Group IT, Brand Marketing & Communications, divisional stakeholders, and external partners, this role ensures scalable, secure, and compliant digital solutions. The position supports both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational excellence across the global web ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Web Platform Governance – Govern CMS platforms, analytics, and integrations, ensuring compliance with branding, security and enterprise standards.
- Solution Delivery & Support – Translate business needs into technical requirements, coordinate delivery with internal teams and vendors, and provide L2/L3 support to maintain high availability and service levels.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management – Act as the interface between IT, BMC, divisional stakeholders, and external partners to drive effective collaboration and consistent outcomes.
- Project Execution – Lead technical delivery for website redesigns, feature rollouts, and integrations, ensuring alignment with agile planning and release schedules.
- Training, Documentation & Financial Oversight – Develop training materials, maintain usage guidelines, and track vendor hours and budgets to support sustainable operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in enterprise IT or web services
- Previous hands-on experience with Optimizely (advantageous)
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical execution
- Skilled in project delivery, release management, and hybrid IT delivery models
- CMS Platform Architecture & Configuration
- Integration Management between CMS and enterprise systems
- Incident & Problem Management (L2/L3)
- SLA and Compliance Frameworks
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strategic thinking with budget awareness and business alignment
- Cross-functional coordination across IT and business domains
- Technical decision-making and governance enforcement
- Enablement leadership and vendor management
