Job Description:
The Project Manager (Non-IT) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing content-related projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This individual will oversee the end-to-end development and release of new and updated content or product deliverables while maintaining quality standards and managing stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of content and product development projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify subject matter experts, coordinate peer reviews, and manage deliverable submissions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules that reflect realistic timelines and dependencies.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and report status updates to leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to review milestones, resolve issues, and ensure alignment.
- Partner with product, marketing, and client services teams to plan and execute communications and launch activities.
- Troubleshoot challenges during development and liaise with distribution and development partners to resolve issues.
- Oversee project documentation, compliance requirements, and budget management.
Skills & Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 2–4+ years of project management experience (non-IT).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Visio).
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and project planning principles.
Skills & Qualifications (Preferred):
- PMI or PMP Certification.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a corporate or content-driven environment.
- Familiarity with resource allocation, cost management, and performance tracking.
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Effective collaborator with proactive communication habits.
