Job Description – Business Analyst andProject Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst cum Project Manager to play a dual role of gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, while also managing end-to-end project delivery. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and challenges.
- Gather, analyze, and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and user stories.
- Map current processes, identify gaps, and propose optimized workflows.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Conduct impact analysis and feasibility studies for new initiatives.
- Support UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution.
Project Management
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and issues proactively.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Track progress against milestones and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with project governance frameworks and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager.
- Proven track record of delivering projects in IT, digital transformation, or managed services environments.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Excellent skills in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, CBAP, or Agile (Scrum Master/PO) is a plus.
