About the Project

We are building a brand-new Search capability for a leading consumer platform’s website. The project is currently in the MVP phase, leveraging MXP on AWS, including OpenSearch, SageMaker, and Bedrock, to deliver scalable, intelligent, and high-performance search functionality.

As a Senior Java Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing the system from the ground up and shaping the architecture of the future search platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced search services using Java and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Integrate search components with AWS tools (SageMaker, Bedrock, MXP) to enable AI-driven features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Take part in architectural design and contribute to technical decisions.
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and CI/CD best practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong Java expertise (hands-on experience building scalable systems).
• Deep understanding of Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, including optimization and query design.
• AWS experience, ideally with SageMaker, Bedrock, or MXP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, indexing, and distributed systems.
• English B2 or higher
