EazyDiner - Senior Backend Developer - PHP/Node.js

Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Backend Developer with experience in building robust, scalable server-side systems using PHP and Node.js. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of modern backend architectures, microservices, and containerized deployments.

Youll play a key role in designing and developing efficient APIs and services that support our customer-facing products and internal systems, with a focus on high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using PHP (Laravel/Symfony) and Node.js.
Develop high-performance microservices supporting millions of users.
Work extensively with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch for data management and performance tuning.
Containerize services using Docker and work in modern DevOps environments.
Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy services via AWS ECS/EKS and manage cloud infrastructure.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture planning.
Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for backend services.

Skills

58 years of experience in backend development.
Strong problem-solving and system design skills.
Expertise in PHP (Laravel/Symfony) and Node.js.
Deep understanding of databases : MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
Practical experience with Docker for containerized development and deployment.
Knowledge of designing and versioning scalable APIs.
Familiarity with Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Working knowledge of security best practices and tools.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
