We store and manage data in a structured way to enable multitude of applications across various industries. We are on a journey to enable developer friendly, mission-critical, AI enabled operational Databases across relational, non-relational and OSS offerings.
SQL DB in Fabric helps abstract all details around database provisioning and management to provide a "SaaS" experience, allowing users to store and query data without prior database expertise. Leveraging core technologies like Hyperscale, Serverless, Elastic Pools, Intelligent QP, and Auto-indexing, the goal is to eliminate the burden of database management. Additionally, the service must integrate seamlessly with the development and analytics ecosystem, streamlining the end-to-end experience from GitHub and CI/CD pipelines to Azure Functions, EventHub, PowerBI, and other popular services. The aim is to empower developers to create solutions much faster than before.
