About You
We are looking for detail oriented and creative thinkers that are ready to take on the challenge of Australia’s renewable energy future.
We are seeking motivated students who are currently completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Candidates should have strong foundations in applied mathematics, such as probability, statistics, regression, optimisation, and mathematical analysis. Backgrounds in physics or related quantitative disciplines will also be highly regarded.
Proficiency in Python or R is essential, and experience applying these tools to real-world data problems will be highly valued.
Eligibility criteria:
- Be able to start a full-time three-month internship role in November 2025 based in Sydney
- Hold an Australian/New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency status at the time of your application
- Due to complete your undergraduate (Bachelor) degree in 2025 or 2026 in one of the above listed disciplines
We will review your application and if suitable, our team will reach out for an initial chat. The process will include an online assessment, digital interview and a face to face interview to determine if you’d be a great fit at Alinta Energy.
