The Project Manager within the Inflight Customer team will play a critical role in the successful implementation of a range of product developments across numerous programs. The inflight customer team looks after dining & hospitality, Product and spatial design, Aircraft cabin & IFEC and inflight operations. The role will be responsible for managing several initiatives simultaneously through the entire project lifecycle from concept design through to implementation and operational readiness activities. The Project Manager will work cross functionally with internal partners and external consultants and suppliers to ensure successful delivery within deadline, on time and to budget in ensuring customer objectives are met.
You’ll Have
- 5+ years non-IT Project Management experience, preferably within the airline industry
- Project Management or industry recognised qualifications
- An understanding of the airline industry and the operational & competitive environment
- Extensive Project Management experience, with demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder groups across multiple projects simultaneously
- Sound understanding of the fundamentals of the customer experience
- Experience in the application of project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and interact with both internal and external partners
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate concepts and ideas clearly and concisely
- Highly competent verbal and written presentations skills, demonstrated high user of Microsoft applications, particularly Powerpoint and Project Management tools
- Excellent group workshop facilitation, mediation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong team spirit
- Resourceful, creative person who is solution oriented and possesses abstract problem-solving skills
