We’re seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Cisco Engineer for a six-month engagement supporting our branch and corporate sites. This Melbourne-based role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in corporate WiFi, SDWAN, SDA, and Cisco ISE. You’ll be joining a dynamic team focused on delivering robust, secure, and scalable network solutions.
Daily Duties of the Role:
- Design and deploy enterprise-grade WiFi networks across multiple corporate locations.
- Configure and maintain SDWAN and SDA infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage Cisco ISE policies for secure network access and identity management.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide Level 3 escalation support.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to align network solutions.
- Document network architecture, changes, and operational procedures for internal knowledge sharing.
Skills Required:
- Proven hands-on experience with Cisco technologies including WiFi, SDWAN, SDA, and ISE.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and identity-based access control.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve advanced network faults in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with enterprise-grade network monitoring and performance tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, or equivalent industry credentials.
