We are now looking for a (Senior) IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team and help govern and ensure our development activities deliver the promised value in terms of deliveries, time and budget. You will also focus on business critical stability in the service we provide to our customers.

About Our Team
Welcome to the NonStop services team - a small but highly focused team and we are important! We have a high responsibility and always have long term goals in mind. We interact with numerous departments within the company and at multiple vendors.
We add value by focusing on the future development of the HPE NonStop platform (i.e. holding the Design Authority), as well as governing well-functioning daily production in one of our most critical platforms where the actual operations have been outsourced to a 3rd party vendor. As one of our IT Infrastructure Specialists, together with your team colleagues, you will play a valuable / key role in ensuring the platform is fit for purpose today as well as capable of adapting to the rapidly changing customer demands and technology development.
What you’ll be doing:
- Helping to plan, guide and govern projects and ”business as usual” activities to deliver value to our business counterparts and customers
- Translating between business and IT - Interpret business needs to IT demands and in return explain our technology to business stakeholders
- Participate in contractual and/or financial negotiations with different vendors
- Supporting upper IT management by creating decision material and giving technical insight
- Working with our outsourcing partners to build, run and improve our platform, on which a large number of business applications depend

Your experience and background:
- Have a can-do attitude and drive things independently, while still being a team player
- Curious and keen to learn more about the bank’s IT systems
- Comfortable in discussions with IT people and business representatives
- Ability to understand both technical and business concepts and language
- At ease in collaboration with colleagues having different national and business cultural backgrounds
- Understanding of IT Infrastructure, technologies and complex projects through studies or hands-on experience
- Excellent communication skills in English both in writing and verbally
- Master's or Bachelor's degree from Computer Science, IT or digital environment (in example Tradenomi, FM, DI, KTM) and ability to work full-time
- Experience with HPE NonStop
- Experience working within a compliance-focused environment and with an ability to deliver clear documentation related to our activities
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles in relation to access rights, securing of data at rest and in transit, and other aspects of securing IT systems is highly appreciated
- Excellent negotiation skills - able to argue one’s case, using evidence and reasoning
- Previous work experience working with outsourcing, procurement or supply chain in technology
- Built a good understanding of IT infrastructure and operating systems, preferably with monolithic or large systems, but certainly servers which run business-critical applications
