Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into actionable technical plans.
- Contribute to design documentation, identify dependencies, and assist in breaking down work items into tasks with accurate estimations.
- Implement and maintain code for features and services, reusing components where applicable and learning from guidance.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork and accountability across engineering and partner teams.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for monitoring and responding to system degradation or downtime, following established playbooks.
- Manage crisis situations involving complex technical issues and diverse audiences with empathy and clarity.
- Conduct technical reviews and develop action plans in collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Continuously seek new knowledge to improve system availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance at scale.
- Contribute to Microsoft’s AI infrastructure by supporting services like MCP Registry and internal LLM model repositories, helping shape the future of intelligent software development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience
