Role : Infrastructure engineer
Work Location – Athlone Ireland
Mode of working - Onsite (All 5 days from office)
Start Date - Immediate
Job Type - 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as primary support for responsible Infrastructure applications- aim to resolve 90% of break-fix issues locally with the super user network. Escalate more complex issues to 3rd level support.
• Record and investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, escalate to management and other teams as required. Co-ordinate the response with external vendors for issue resolution, upgrades etc.
• Act as a technical lead for system enhancements / minor upgrades. Responsible for application configuration and management including workflow development,
• configuration and support in multiple environments.
• Coordinate the required change control and associated regression testing documentation where required for global or other changes, following both the IT and
• site change control procedures.
• Liaise and communicate with system users and vendors to ensure systems operate to maximum effect. Responsible for communication of application related initiatives and changes to end users with regard to application configuration and support.
• Adherence to GEP and GXP procedures in relation to all aspects of the job. Ensure processes, procedures and SOP’s are established and maintained for support of solutions.
• Ensure solutions are compliant with regulatory requirements
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities, anticipates problems and implement solutions in line with IT standards.
• Work with global super user network, ensuring that systems are fit for purpose and any issues are addressed in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates the ability to operate independently or collectively, in a culture of efficiency, helpfulness, innovation, continuous improvement, enthusiasm, reliable
• and consistent delivery, integrity, partnership and collaboration, locally and globally.
• Taking instruction from personnel within and completing tasks or responsibilities allocated to the Client Analyst by APIL personnel.
