Our client based in Cork City is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong testing background to support ongoing financial system enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business and IT, translating requirements into clear deliverables while ensuring functionality is tested and validated before release.

• 
  Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for system changes.
• 
  Evaluate system impacts and process dependencies across multiple business areas.
• 
  Create and maintain test scenarios and test cases for functional and regression testing.
• 
  Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• 
  Support end-to-end testing and ensure solutions meet quality and business expectations.
• 
  Present analysis and test results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

• 
  5+ years' experience in business analysis or functional analysis roles.
• 
  Proven experience in software testing and test case design.
• 
  Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• 
  Familiarity with Agile ways of working and tools such as Jira or similar.
• 
  Knowledge of UML or other modelling techniques is an advantage.
• 
  Certifications in Business Analysis or Testing would be beneficial.
• 
  Fluent English required; other languages an advantage.
