Role Overview
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be partnering with Google, here you will play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across teams. You will partner with business, product, and engineering stakeholders to design scalable data solutions and develop analytics dashboards in Looker that support Google’s data-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Looker dashboards, explores, and data models to support business performance tracking and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including Product, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering — to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business trends, KPIs, and product metrics to provide insights and recommendations.
- Enable self-service analytics by documenting and standardizing key metrics, data sources, and reporting processes.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders through data storytelling, visualizations, and presentations.
- Support data governance initiatives by ensuring compliance with internal standards and policies around data usage and quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Economics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Looker.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale data in cloud environments (e.g., BigQuery).
- Experience using data visualization and reporting tools to drive decision-making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
