JOB MISSION
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact? We’re looking for passionate individuals eager to help grow our Haircare Global Marketing Department while upholding our core values of beauty, ethics, and sustainability.
As our Product Manager, you will contribute to the ensure the competitiveness of the brands belonging to the category to which is assigned, either supporting the Brand Manager in some activities or taking care of others directly, according to the seniority level, in line with company standards and its sustainable values.
What You Will Do
- Defining the business plan/business potential of each new product/ product family/brand in order to get the approval of the project itself
- Creating specific product briefs for design & development
- Managing the product development, working in close collaboration with all the departments involved
- Support in the definition the Marketing mix of each new product / product family/brand, including the value proposition, the key claims and the price positioning
- Identifying and producing the communication assets essential to promote the right positioning of the brands or products in all the channels, working in close collaboration with COMs
- Responsible for delivering key new product development elements (i.e. label design & content definition, packaging design & quality checks, etc.) and assets (in-salon materials, digital communication materials, sales tools, etc)
- Creating and delivering presentations through impactful techniques
- Managing the brand-related budget
- Analyzing competitors and customer insights
- Analyzing sales forecasts and relevant financials and reporting on product sales
- Understanding of the specific characteristics of the product in terms of formulation, packaging and production through product development projects and on-the-field shadowing
- At least 1/2 years' demonstrable marketing experience in a similar environment
- Experience in the Hair Care industry is a plus
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Marketing, Economics, or related fields
- Brand awareness - knowledge of brands and the marketing mix
- Knowledge of cross-functional processes in product development
- Experience in New Product Development (NPD) is preferred
- Clear understanding of Go-to-Market processes.
- Ability to coordinate product development processes and engage the relevant internal and external stakeholders with a proactive attitude
- Being fluent in English is a must
- Basic knowledge of the Italian language is required
- Collaborative, team-building, and proactive attitude when dealing with ambiguity
- Strong communication skills
- Relationship management skills: able to facilitate/maintain good relationships with colleagues and external contacts
