About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled mobile developer proficient in iOS and Android. You will focus on enhancing the existing set of apps. Analyze complex issues, propose innovative solutions, and improve user experience. Join the "Ownership Squad" team responsible for developing digital products that simplify the end-user experience for a variety of insurance cases.
What are you going to do?
- Plan, develop, and maintain our applications to ensure high performance and scalability
- Actively contribute to delivering our product roadmap and realizing our long-term vision
- Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
What do we expect from you?
Must have
- At least five years of experience in software development within relevant areas
- Proven ability to design and deliver high-quality, robust features, taking ownership from planning through to final delivery
- Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for creating efficient and sustainable technical solutions
- Solid understanding and experience with publishing apps to the AppStore
- Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with DevOps practices
- A proactive mindset, with a genuine eagerness to share knowledge, stay curious, and drive positive change
- Strong communication skills in Latvian and English to communicate with colleagues from different countries
Nice to have
- Experience in iOS app development is a plus, though not a requirement for the role
Tech stack you’ll be working with
Kotlin, Coroutines & Flows, Dagger Hilt, Firebase, Jetpack Compose, Other Jetpack libraries, Swift, SwiftUI, Xcode and related debugging tools such as Instruments
