Cloud Engineer- AWS- Contract (onsite in Luxembourg)
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team in Luxembourg on a 6-month contract (with possibility of extension). The successful candidate will play a key role in managing, optimizing, and scaling the AWS Cloud environment, ensuring smooth and secure operations across multiple projects.
This is a hands-on role ideal for a proactive engineer who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and enjoys implementing automation and best DevOps practices in cloud data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the AWS Cloud environment to ensure high performance, stability, and scalability.
- Automate and enhance cloud data platform services following best DevOps and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Provide Tier 2 support for AWS services and operational cloud processes related to energy operations.
- Work closely with solution architects and stakeholders to design and deploy cloud-native solutions (containers, microservices, APIs).
- Maintain security and compliance by enforcing governance standards, managing access control, and monitoring cloud activity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on AWS.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible).
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and cost optimization tools within AWS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French
