What we expect from this role

As our Medior Product Designer, you will craft intuitive, elegant, and data-informed product experiences that help commodity professionals make smarter decisions on Vesper. You will work end-to-end — from understanding complex workflows and user needs, to shaping flows, creating polished UI, and validating solutions with users.

You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts while working directly with our Senior Product Designer. You will play an important role in shaping how design is done at Vesper, helping us turn commodity data into tools that feel simple and powerful for our users.

We are looking for somebody who is curious, open-minded and proactive — someone who asks questions, loves solving complex problems, collaborates well across teams, and takes ownership from idea to shipped solution that works. What you will be doing

• Own the full design process: from discovery and ideation to testing and implementation.
• Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define problems and co-create solutions.
• Be a user advocate: conduct interviews and run usability tests to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and iterate quickly.
• Communicate and present your design decisions to your team and stakeholders.

What you will bring

• 2–4 years of product design experience (preferably in SaaS, data-heavy, or B2B applications).
• Strong interaction & visual design skills demonstrated through a solid portfolio.
• Product mindset: question assumptions, propose better ways, and advocate for user needs.
• Curiosity and high agency: you don’t wait to be told what to do; you explore, learn, and push ideas forward.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills — you work well with PMs, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Proficiency with modern design tools like Figma, and comfort using AI prototyping tools like Bolt or Lovable.
• Growth mindset — you seek feedback, learn fast, and stay curious about both design craft and business impact.
• (Optional) Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field (Design, HCI, Digital Media) — nice to have but not required.
