Senior Network Engineer

Position – Senior Network Engineer

Location – Utrecht, Amsterdam or Rotterdam (Hybrid).

Duration – Long Term Contract

Responsibilities:

Implement manual network and firewall changes in line with bank standards

Design and maintain network and firewall runbooks based on ING patterns

Update and maintain network and firewall documentation

Collaborate with a distributed team (Netherlands & Poland) in an Agile/Scrum environment

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or higher (HBO/WO level)

Strong hands-on experience with F5 (GTM & LTM) and Palo Alto (must-have)

Experience with Check Point, Cisco, and Infoblox is a plus

Familiarity with Azure DevOps and ServiceNow

Agile mindset and experience with Scrum methodology

High attention to detail and ability to work independently

Strong team player with excellent communication skills
