As a Android Software Developer, You Will

  • Design and build advanced applications and SDKs for the Android platform;
  • Lead and contribute to architecture and design discussions;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to define, design, and ship new features;
  • Drive technical excellence through code reviews, testing strategies, mentoring and documentation;
  • Advocate for and implement modern design patterns and best practices;
  • Take initiative on performance optimization, improve documentation quality;
  • Ensure secure, scalable, and high-quality code delivery;
  • Support product discovery and early prototyping with UX and Product teams.

As a Senior Android Developer, You Will

  • Design and build advanced applications and SDKs for the Android platform;
  • Lead and contribute to architecture and design discussions;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to define, design, and ship new features;
  • Drive technical excellence through code reviews, testing strategies, mentoring and documentation;
  • Advocate for and implement modern design patterns and best practices;
  • Take initiative on performance optimization, improve documentation quality;
  • Ensure secure, scalable, and high-quality code delivery;
  • Support product discovery and early prototyping with UX and Product teams.

About You

Mandatory Requirements

  • At least 3yrs experience designing and developing native Android (Kotlin);
  • Strong and clear understanding of Android App’s lifecycle, development tools;
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, performance tools and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and asynchronous programming;
  • Experience working with secure storage solutions such as EncryptedSharedPreferences and implementing data encryption;
  • Creative thinking, analytical skills, with attention to detail;
  • Team-player that is positive, proactive and a motivated self-starter.
  • Fluent in English.

Desirable

  • You care deeply about the craft of software development and stay on top of emerging technologies and best practices;
  • Experience with SDK development, ML Kit, Push notifications.
  • Continuous Integration/Deployment tools and processes;
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA & Confluence);
  • Experience with version control tools like Gitlab, Git.
