Komodo Consulting is a technology and strategy firm specializing in Digital Transformation. Operating in Portugal and Poland, we provide IT Consulting & Nearshore services. We support both public and private sector organizations through two main areas: 

• Consulting — with a focus on strategy, investment analysis, and digital process improvement;
• IT Team Augmentation — helping clients scale and strengthen their tech teams.

The project

As a UX/UI Designer, you will be working on a project for an Infrastructure/Mobility client.

You will do the following:

• Design of low-level (wireframes) and high-level (interfaces) interfaces;
• Production of navigable prototypes, navigation flows, page architecture, and navigation models;
• Support for projects and applications, ensuring alignment with development teams;
• Present results and conclusions gathered from user interviews, focus group sessions, ideation sessions, or problem deconstruction sessions;
• Experience in handing over projects to development teams;
• Ability to understand technical limitations and adapt the design proposal accordingly.

You need to have the following skills/experience:

• Proficiency in interface design tools, prototype creation, navigation flow maps, and decision trees using Figma or Invision (mandatory);
• Knowledge of vector design tools and image editing software such as Illustrator and Photoshop (preferred);
• Experience in using and building Design Systems, UI Kits, UI component libraries, or live style guides (preferred);
• Ability to think through and design usability flows, page architecture, and navigation models;
• Experience conducting user interviews, focus group sessions, and gathering usage data to inform decisions;
• Ability to facilitate ideation or problem deconstruction sessions;
• Certifications or training in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Design Thinking, Service Design, UX (usability), or Research;
