🚀 About the Company
Our client is a global leader in sports technology and premium manufacturing, recognised worldwide for engineering excellence and craftsmanship. With operations in over 100 countries and a proud century-long heritage, the business combines deep-rooted tradition with a bold, innovative mindset.
Backed by a leading private equity firm, the company is now entering an exciting phase of digital transformation and product innovation. Following a recent acquisition of a cutting-edge German tech firm specialising in automated scoring systems, the mission is clear: to fuse high-quality equipment with smart, cloud-connected technology that redefines gameplay, training, and global competition.
đź’ˇ The Opportunity
This is a unique chance to join a small, high-impact engineering team at the very start of its growth journey. The current tech group includes the Founder/CTO, two Backend Engineers, and a Frontend Engineer - and now they’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to help scale their platform and bring cloud excellence into the heart of the product.
You’ll play a hands-on role in designing, building, testing, and deploying cloud-based infrastructure and applications that will enable the next generation of connected sports experiences.

- Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for scalable, high-availability systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and analysts to shape the future of the company’s DevOps and cloud strategy.
- Build and optimise Kubernetes clusters and network performance for users across new global markets.
- Implement best practices for monitoring, reliability, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
- Work closely with the product team to help scale a digital scoring platform to a global audience.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in cloud infrastructure engineering and DevOps best practices.
- Proven expertise with Kubernetes and Cloudflare.
- Familiarity with ArgoCD or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience designing scalable architectures and managing cloud migrations.
- A collaborative mindset — excited to work in a small, growing, and cross-functional tech team.
🎯 Why Join?
- Work on a globally recognised brand that’s reinventing itself through technology.
- Join at the ground floor of a new tech division, with the freedom to shape its direction.
- Be part of a PE-backed growth journey, combining heritage with innovation.
- Fully remote role with monthly meetups and genuine flexibility.
- Competitive salary, long-term growth, and future equity potential.
